Global Integrity Alliance Online Community Workspace
The Global Integrity Alliance (GIA) is an international group of individuals and organizations, launched at the World Ethics Forum in Oxford UK in April, 2006. The GIA's mission is to promote ethical, accountable and effective leadership by placing integrity at the center of efforts to improve human life. Its vision is a world where:
- Ethical leadership is the norm and good governance, just societies and effective development are the result;
- People are optimistic for the future because they see high ethical standards in the political and economic decision making that affects their lives; and
- Youth talk about making a difference, because now they see that they can.
The GIA turned to Lock Media to create the online community based workspace system. The GIA web portal allows for working groups and users to share documents and resources along with collaberation tools and online publishing forums.
